1. Dedicated to Preservation, Never Exploitation

ÌRÀNTÍ exists to preserve family memories with dignity and reverence. We are not an advertising-funded social network or a data-brokerage platform. We collect only what is voluntarily provided to construct, edit, and safeguard the memorial.

We do not sell, rent, monetize, or license family material, visitor information, or memorial records to any third party. Your memories belong to your family.

2. Information Entrusted to Us

When you create, contribute to, or interact with an archive, we process:

  • Account & Custodian Details: Email address, name, and billing confirmation needed to manage the memorial, invite collaborators, and communicate regarding editorial progress.
  • Biographical Material: Written narratives, lifespans, family tree lineage, photographs, home video clips, voice recordings, and historic ephemera added by the custodian.
  • Visitor Tributes & Condolences: Guestbook messages, uploaded memories, and visitor names, all of which remain pending until approved by the family custodian.
  • Security & Infrastructure Logs: Technical logs, IP records, and access timestamps strictly required for DDoS defense, system integrity, and HTTPS serving.

3. Confidentiality & Cryptographic Protection

Memorials may be configured as public, unlisted (accessible only to those in possession of the private URL), or locked behind a family passcode.

When a family sets a passcode, we do not store the plain text password. We record only a cryptographic salted hash using industry-standard hashing algorithms. No employee or contractor can view your raw passcode.

All network traffic is encrypted in transit via Transport Layer Security (TLS 1.3) and stored across resilient, encrypted cloud vaults.

4. Your Rights & Archival Export

You hold the absolute right to access, rectify, download, or delete any and all records associated with your account.

At any point, a memorial custodian can generate a master digital archive containing every raw image, full-fidelity audio clip, video file, and text narrative, packaged alongside a standalone offline web folio.
